Verantel and Filevine

Filevine makes legal case management software and LOIS, its legal AI platform. Filevine organizes each client's matter in its own project. Verantel is an AI intake interviewer. A prospective client tells their story in a web chat, and Verantel asks one question at a time until it has what your firm needs. The Verantel Filevine integration puts each new intake in front of your attorneys in Filevine.

How Verantel works with Filevine

Verantel runs the interview with the prospective client. When the interview ends, Verantel writes a record of the matter. Verantel then sends the new project, with its Verantel record, into Filevine. The prospective client arrives as a Filevine contact on the project.

Your firm connects its Filevine account from the Verantel dashboard. After that, each finished interview reaches Filevine with no work from your staff.

What your attorneys see in Filevine

Your attorneys open Filevine and find the new project with its Verantel record. The record covers:

  • the short summary
  • the deadlines
  • the facts, grouped by topic, each linked to the client's own words
  • each legal matter, with its practice area and state
  • the people and organizations involved
  • how well the matter fits your firm
  • what an attorney would gather next
  • the full transcript

An attorney who doubts a fact follows its link and reads what the client said. Verantel is not a lawyer and gives no legal advice. Your attorneys decide what the facts mean and whether to take the matter.

From there, your team works the project in Filevine as it works any other. The record sits with the project from the start.

In October 2026, Filevine launched LOIS Voice Agents in beta. They answer a firm's inbound calls, ask the firm's approved intake questions, and route each call by the caller's reason for calling. Filevine also announced Filevine Finance, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform for law firms and legal teams. It brings a firm's general ledger, trust accounting, billing, payables, receivables, and reporting into one system.

Where the data lives

Verantel keeps each firm's interviews in a database of the firm's own, on Verantel's server or the firm's own. The project and its record travel to Filevine, which keeps them under your firm's account there. Verantel stores nothing on the way.
